In the course of our lives, we come in contact with thousands of people. A few hundred of those we acquaint with, a smaller handful we befriend, and a select few we allow into our personal zone. Every one of them is special in some way, some more special to us than others.
But there are some people that are special in a unique way. These people can illuminate the space they’re in by just being. You intuitively and instantly like them, know that they are the good lot, the kind you want to surround yourself with. They have the ability to fill you with a kind of positive energy, that seems to renew your faith in humanity. It isn’t necessary for you to even have been close to this person. He needn’t be your best friend or lover. You may have just had a brush with him once. Sometimes a single meeting is enough. It’s hard to explain, but if you’ve come across such a person, you’ll know exactly what I’m trying to say.
These are the kind of people you want to help out, even though you may not understand why. Maybe subconsciously you know it’s because they would do it for you, too. But what you do understand is that seeing them happy will make you happy. They are also the people who will rarely ask you for anything. The kind that’s used to giving, with no expectations. The kind that you tend to take for granted, because they’re always there for everyone. I know, it seems a little unbelievable that you can gather this from a short meeting with someone and sometimes it does take longer, but sooner or later, their light just shines through and you cannot help but be entranced.
So, here’s a shout-out to these special kind of special people. Thank you for making the world a more beautiful place with your presence. Thank you for the love and light you spread everywhere you go. Thank you for being YOU.
